Call of Duty 4- Modern warfare Xbox 360

Anyone got this, i got it today, what an awesome game, playin on a 42" LCD 1080p and the XBOX 360 elite, running through the hdmi at 1080p, graphics are mint:D.

Just been playing for 5 hours tonight :D. not played the single player campaign, just went straight online.

Graphics are superb, some of the game modes are HARD though! not easy learning a map when being shot at from miles away! Love being able to call in helicopter support and airstrikes though.

Hard choice whether to play halo or cod4 now........:D

Yeah . . . the reviewers are saying that for all the main platforms (except DS of course), the game is absolutely amazing, perfect and is best game this year etc. but it's still not quite 100% due to one slight niggle. This niggle is that the offline mode is far too short, it can be completed in under 4 hours by most FPS fans and under 6 hours by most other players.

They say this is compensated by the huge attention to detail in the single player mode and then made so so so much better by the online mode which can keep you happy for years as it is so customisable and so on.

My girlfriend and I have both ordered it for the PS3 and are now waiting on it being delivered but I have to say, I just can't wait for them to arrive as it looks just sooooo brilliant!!!

you wont be disappointed m8ty, I cant find fault with the game at all. The attention to detail in the single player campaign is gob-smacking - wait till you play the level 'all ghillied up' WOW :D. I've been playing games since the vic-20 was around and that one level alone was worth the asking price!

yea defo the best bit off single player part in the game is when u go back 15yrs as LT price i like it cos its bang on in how to be a sniper as i no this first hand as i was a sniper in the army that is the closest any civi will get to play as a sniper its a really good game especially with the shoot in front off a moving target to kill him wicked just brings back memory,s for me pmsl as we used to say in the 1st BN ROYAL SCOTS " UP THE ROYALS":D:D

Yeah there isn't as much of a choice in the games for the PS3 but at least it will work for more than 2 days at a time before going in a huff and refusing to work!

Plus my 'normal' sized hands couldn't cope with the Jap spec mini controller with no triggers! FYI I have had my 360 since launch and its on 4 hours a day at least and its never missed a beat :D
