Do you mean the powerpipe? (shiny bent bit of pipe to the right and above the engine)

If so, it replaces the standard hose between the intercooler and the throttle body.

Some say that this can suck flat under vacuum on the standard hose and a hard version is better. I bought it because it also comes with a mount for a dump valve making it a lot better looking than the original with the hose cut for a 'T'piece.

Or it could be the pipe down to the intercooler that sits behind the grille - that's supplied with the courtenay front mounted intercooler (which is being removed)

Hope that's the right bit, took me ages to 1 finger type this!
