New to the site and to the VXR

I've owned a MK4 - R32 for the last 4 years and reluctantly sold it a couple of weeks ago, due to some large bills coming through. Timing chain having to be replaced cost me £950 (main VW Dealer) - £220 for the part and the rest on labour.

ANYWAY - less about the Golf :)

Im collecting an Arden Blue Astra VXR on December 28th with the 19" wheels, Sat nav upgrade and MP3/IPOD connection.

I've already read a few posts on here and am very much looking forward to getting the ST1 and maybe ST2 done at some point. Although im sure i will be perfectly happy with the car as it is for a while.

Ok, basic introduction done....... role on the 28th!!!!!

And you will find Maintenance a lot cheaper than your R32

And go for Stage 2, maybe even stage 3, you will love it ;)
