I'd like to know more about window tints, way too pale on the Corsa. Our Zafira seems about twice as dark. Mostly, I don't think about it once I'm in (with my shades on) but after I've cleaned the Arden beauty I take a look and think "she needs tints".

Ok so iv had the windows tinted today, Pictures below, its getting dark so pics aren't brilliant but what do you think?

The front side isn't as dark as it looks, its due to lack of light n through a photo etc.

Personally i think they look alright, im not to sure what the plod might think of having the the drivers and passenger ones tinted tho.

As far as i was aware they were completely illegal, but tbh every1 has a diff story about the legalities of this topic tho.

Sorry Gizbod, but you are going to have to take some more photos when the sun is still up! I'm really liking the side view but got to see it in daylight to see how cool it really is. Anyway, it's certainly good at worst but it could well be really cool. Think tints look really good on flame red as somehow the colour seems to wash to windows out.

You've got issues mate, if you don't like it then don't comment, otherwise it is his car and he may do as he likes it is not like he has put flames down the side or anything, he has just tinted the windows.

Tinted cars look fantastic, why the hell do all manufactures have their cars tinted for TV adverts and mags, its not to hide the driver behind the wheel? LOL

Every car I owned apart from my first car had tints. Astra had Light (driver), Medium (rear passenger), Medium (rear window). Mondeo ST220 had Executive Light all round. This VXR8 will get the Lightest tint all round again. Never been stopped by Police because of my tints on front windows.

and NO, tints don't make u a boyracer, my local tints fav customer are MumVees, MumVees owned by rich men's wives who want to keep their kids cool in summer. I tint mine for security, ie harder to brake in.

i'm glad people agree tho about the windows and that theres no need for what that guy said, afterall this site is for opnions not judgements and thats what put me off using the forum for my last car - wouldn't want that to happen again.

i had them done at a place called infinity fx, based on the way in to portishead, they did my old car aswell. it cost £120 which is cheap compared to most and it is done well.

and how can tints make it look boy racer like? thats the most pathetic comment I have ever heard lol... also.. its not illegal to have tints on the front, BUT they have to let 70% VLT .. basically when the tints are done.. the tinter should actually tell you what ones you can have on the front without the coppers pulling you over for it.
