Decided yesterday that enough was enough i didnt spend this vast amount of money to be driving around in my car when it looks like it never been looked after covered in loads of dirt and grime, after a good few hours ive managed to get it looking like new again! :D

Quite pleased with the outcome tbh, would have liked to have given it a bit of a better polish but it began to rain lol.

Might give you a rough idea of how long it took me :o.

TBH i didnt quite realise the state it was in, it took most of the time just to pressure wash the worst off, then onto the wash mitt for 2 goings over, it was so grubby i had to use 2 buckets, 1 to get clean water on the mitt and the other to rinse the dirt from it lol

in total took me about 4-5hrs or so. :rolleyes:

they look so good clean, i wish i had time to clean it more often but i dont, the red just shines at you. its lovely.

lol... yes its needs a wash.. but will get round to it soon... done it the wkend b4 xmas. as it was dirtier than the car on this thread ( if thats possible) but its not tooooooooooooo bad.. :twisted:

Cheers for the comment sparticus, Its a mix of wet mud and grit, downside to having friends who live in farmhouses i guess. I still couldnt work out how it came to going black in colour tho, i guess if i get bored of flame red its a good way to save spending on a respray :D

Weve got the red corsa aswell. and after not cleaning it for a while then driving for 6 hours up to scotland. it was black! gave it a wash next day tho.. but its getting durtyyyyyyyy again

yeah it is a me to you teddy lol.

if your car was black after 6 hours i wonder how bad mine will be in july when i go to scotland with it. its an 11 hour drive to fort william for me :o.

well we didnt wash it for a couple weeks even before the trip.. the shame! but looks great when its clean... 11 hours? ouch.. good luck driving that, and hope you wash the black car :p
