Corsa cruises Wales

Late Dec Shane & I decided it was time to see Wales, all of it, well as much as we could in 7 days starting from the south coast and making out way up north before heading back down by the inland route and mountain passes. Disgarding the sat nav we decided to go old school map and headed off looking for A, B & unclass country roads to make our way up along the coastline as far north as possible also checking out the vaste amount of castles Wales has to offer. Now for those who live in Wales you guys have some of the most best drivers roads in the country and some great sites to go with.
During the 7 days the weather held out except for the last day where we hit some heavy rain in the mountains, alot of greasy roads along the way but the corsa took it in its stride and handled well sweeping through the fast country lanes, all in good fun and we had a great time, castle hunting was the highlight for us but so to was the driving :D

Some really good pics in there hope you had a good time,

you can see the corsa getting dirtier and dirtier as the trip goes on, although im not suprised with all those muddy lanes lol :)

nah wasnt a marine mate

was in the Aus navy as a medic & diver and serving on mine hunters looking after clearence divers as a dive medic, started out as a gunnery rate sailor first though.

wasnt no recreational open water dive course i can tell you :lol:
but what the clearance divers go through for training would be inline with hell :D

last minute change of plans, we was going to do Scotland, we are gonna do some of that drive again possibly easter as the roads are supurb for driving, will let you know.

astra hasnt had a good drive in a while or had a good wash in weeks so cleaned her up yeaterday and back in the garage, plans for her this year is the nurburgring then a drive throught the Swis and Italian alps so not all missing out :D

Very jealous, Ive already got one holiday booked, so I will have to wait untill next year for a driving holiday.:)

astra hasnt had a good drive in a while or had a good wash in weeks so cleaned her up yeaterday and back in the garage, plans for her this year is the nurburgring then a drive throught the Swis and Italian alps so not all missing out :D

was a great drive, looking at doing some of it again during the easter break, concentrate on the inland/mountain ranges.
