Yeah I caught that one the other night good film I thought - kinda leaves you thinking about it hours/days after really. Another Will Smith masterpiece.

Loved that flic, as well. The original was pretty cool too-"The Omega Man". Beware though, it was made in the early 70's with a low budget, so the special effects/make-up/costumes aren't all there. Charlton Heston stars in it.

Good film in general, but some massive plot holes and missed oppurtunities which is a shame as it could have been even more interesting.

It is the third film adaptation of the 1954 novel I Am Legend (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Am_Legend), following 1964's The Last Man on Earth (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Last_Man_on_Earth_%281964_film%29) and 1971's The Omega Man (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Omega_Man), this would make 28days later an English version of which infact is also inspired by the book I am Legend.

I agree with that quote the end was a bit disapointing it seemed as if theyd ran out of time for the ending......lol

Alternate ending on the DVD, both pretty much open to a sequel, with or without Will Smith, wasn't that impressed with either ending if I'm honest, waste of potential again from hollywood, the definitive end of the world movie is yet to be made IMHO. But look forward to the day it is!
