Spotted me....or spotted the car?

The car is up there getting ...errr... *******... which hopefully will take it beyond the VXR 500

Hopefully they were taking it easy....

501
~530-550

The VXR 500 is just an "Out the box" VXR with the S/C bolted on (in simplistic terms)

I also have the Wortec full stainless exhaust which should take it over the top..

Well i have astra on order with caspy and cannot believe the pull of that at 237 cannot imagine what 500+ would be like!

Can you seriously drive the car smoothly or is it tugging the whole time.

My work colleague is toying with the idea of a 1 year old Monaro as has seen pictures of blue one at silverstone this weekend....

Lovely car!

Well, got 450 at the moment and it pulls like a freight train - sounds like it as well with the wortec...I can't wait until Saturday when I pick it up.

Fairly easy to drive, but has plenty of "warp factor" when you need it

The blue one would be a CV8 model which has the 5.7 in it rather than the 6ltr in the VXR.

Lovely car!
Why, thank you...

I wouldn't put it on a dyno until it has 1000 miles on the charger, also, it needs totally different techinique to the one previously used.

Well, 1,000 miles is better the the 25,000 you said earlier.... :P

As for technique... well, I wouldn't know anything about that because I just give John the keys... Would you care to explain... for everyone's benifit

Well, as you can see, the guys at Greens have been fettling again and what a fettle it is...Yep, I've been blown.

Right, first impressions, based on the 30 mile motorway drive from Holborough to Home...

F'KIN A++++++++++++++++ :D :D :D :D :D :D

The car now has so much ooommphh its unreal, believe it or not, 6th gear even pulls very substantially indeed. (standard 3.45 diff still)

And in 4th/5th at about 60, put your foot down for more than few seconds and you'll probably acheive gravitational break away speed. Pulling away from lights, well, I haven't tried that yet, but you can feel that it wants to be let off the leash.

The sound... Suck me, it sounds good.. when you hear the induction and screws winding up, you know there's something special at the end of the right foot. Unfortunately, the sound of the exhaust drowns it a little, but you know its there.

As for drivability, when in "normal" mode, you dont really notice any difference, still real easy to drive as before, but you know you can unleash hell at any time.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone at Greens for yet another star performance. You guys are the best..

...and for a final touch...
