On the high speed passenger ride round rockingham today the burg dropped its oil all over the track. More burg problems??

Probably got something to do with all the hard driving rouns the track.

Gotta say, i know how the remus sounds awesome when inside the car, but when you hear it outside the car its on a completely different level.

I would not worry too much about the Burg dropping its oil, it had a hard life being driven around the tracks on the VXR track days.

There are 2 Nurburgring cars at the event.

Both have been driven by Paul O'Neil and Tom Onslow Cole.

Pauls car has just clocked 3000 miles. Toms just under 1800.

Both cars have been run in a 'spirited' manner and exclusively on the track.

Both cars run with ESP , TC and ABS off.

Both cars have had no engine issues (and they're running on 95octane) but both have suffered gearbox failures.

Pauls lasted longer than we all thought given the mileage and Tom because he clutchless shifts 3rd to 4th , 5th to 6th.

Overall we're rather pleased they lasted this long without any other issues!

PS
the clutches are fine too.....

Good use of the word spirited - those guys can drive! How many complaints did you get in the end from the locals at Oulton because of the noise?? ;):D
