heard a few times they dont work very good without seats with harness holes..
also the straps are not seperated so they would rub your neck

i have a pair of these in my car and chris also runs these.... they dont rub my neck and dont rub his - so you would have to be blessed with a very wide neck for it to be a problem!
they will also fit the VXR8.

where would these bolt to on the corsa? are they clips into an eyelet or are they just bolted straight through the harness?
Clip through eyelet

Or just hole through the harness like this?

AaronbrockVXR
8th July 2008, 01:32 AM
as you cant blot anything to/into the seat because of the airbags
LukeVXR

think they use the rear seatbelt plugs for the rear strap

would be interested in seeing some stress ****ysis of the rear seat belt anchor points. They are designed for the force to pull in a certain direction. Using these may pull ina way that the metal is not designed to do and may distort the metal in a crash. Are they TUV approved? If so ignore my comment

I just use CGLocks instead. Use them all the time, every day.
Effectively the CGLock uses the existing seatbelt and 'converts' it into a 2-point lap harness.
It means that you can still stretch forward to do stuff...
Take a look here (http://www.cg-lock.co.uk/)

problem with the CGLocks is the weight of the item....putting premature wear on the retracting belt system.
These harnesses probably bolt into the subframe bolt to the floor.

are these easy enough to fit DIY? ive removed rear seat belts before, i assume its just ficing them to existing seat belt mounting points in the front and removing rear seat bench to fix the 3rd point under the rear seat belt bolt points???
