Hey there just wondering do you do fitting for these? as i'm not that mechanically minded. is there a warrenty on them?

can you do a direct side on picture, i need to gauge the drop as we have some almight speed bumps around here, plus the look i want to go for as regards tyre to top of arch space.

Thanks :D

Hey Noddie, cheers for the call mate... glad to see your excited about getting your springs. Id love to know what you think of them once fitted!

Joseph, thanks for the post! Gives me more ammo to try and get the VXR range pushed to production!! I currently have the Reanult range in our development centre and so i cant get the VXR range in untill they are done. I think it will still be a few months untill the Corsa system is completed if im honest!

Schneider, Yes we can fit them for you. Your best bet is to give me a quick call as the prices do vary. Janspeed's number is: 01722 321833.

As for the ride hight, i only have those pictures at the moment im afraid as i do not currently have the car here! I will try to get some more pics for you at some point! The front wheel's basically sit at arch hight, the rears are a few mm higher as the Corsa seemed to perform better with this stance.

Lastly yes there is a warranty on the springs, it is 3years or 36k miles!

Cheers everyone

Wow that looks stuning thanks Tony, even with a 40mm drop you still have ground clearance so speed bumps not an issue?, does it rub in the arches at all or hit the bump stops? any problems with carrying passengers in the back or load in the boat like a full fortnightly shop?

if all this is fine I'm probably going to have a 40mm drop then :D instead of just 20mm :D

Thats for the fast reply Martyn

Go 40mm, I have had no problems providing I take it a little easier with a full load

Martyn is there any videos of cars fitted with a similar system to what will be produced for the corsa, wanting to get something soon, as im planning to put exhaust, intercooler etc on before get a live mapping done, been getting into some drag racing and very keen to get it all done sooner.... Loads of people in Ireland have janspeed on ae86 corrolas, don't think it would sound great on a vxr but wondering what is the closest to give me an idea, clio maybe?

Loving it lowered looks great,
(B16Bazza): is that 40mm she is lowered by? I was hoping to lower mine further but cant seem to find anything lower than 40mm. Plus by the look of yours its on its *** just wi 40mm.
I think im gonna get the springs and the boost gauge. Can you fit the boost gauge yourself or is it best to get someone else to do it?
do you have a pic of the full car on its side Bazza or just the front?

if anyone lowered it more than 40 you wouldn't be able to take speed bumps, I scratched my bumper 3 times on bumps (not because i was goin to fast either) Luckily it was being sprayed under warranty after this happened due to a dif matter.

not scratched it since, but does happen. be careful

Janspeed springs are great - rate them very highly

their finance department however - not so great

o forgot to add, i got mud flaps which are set quite low so that helps to make it look alot a lower.
and boost gauge is ok to fit youself if you no what your doing and no where its going. mine is just mounted on the dash c pics... i find its easier to watch and c whats happening so gonna leave boost there and mount oil presure and water temp in my vents in the middle.

I wanna do this with the gauge, however al need to try n find somewhere that can do it.

http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g284/N0ddie/3xgauges2.jpg

Obviously the gauges wont all be boost gauges, thats just an example. But volts and oil temp would be the other 2.

Might not be able to fit 3 in, they are slightly bigger than in the pic so 2 might have to do.

Ah... you have me there!

Im afraid our holder is just a plastic black holder... Im sure if you sanded it down, sprayed and laquered it you could get it to look pretty close to the piano black dash.

Im just trying to get some pics for you guys now!

I have sorted out a price though!

The holder will cost you: £7.19.

Jay if you want the Voltage and Oil temp gauges i can do them for: £22.50 each. Thats a total, if you want both guages, pod and postage, of: £60.69

Hope thats a good enough price for you.... right im off to get some pics!!
