Remove plastic stud on left of boot clasp (carefully pop out with a screwdriver) and this will enable you to pop off the plastic trim around the clasp.

The grey flocked piece over the inner boot lid can then be removed. This is held on by white plastic pop in studs which require popping out...can take a bit of force so use a large bladed screwdriver to pop one or two out then you can get your hand in to knock out the rest.
Inside grey boot trim, white stud can just be seen:-

No need to disconnect this one like i did, its for the boot clasp and is in the middle of the boot lid:-

Looking within the boot lid you will see 6 x 8mm nuts, these hold the strip in place so remove these and the strip should come free.
Remove the bolts from the strip (slide out) and the release handle as well, remove the connector and wiring from the strip first! The release handle can be a little difficult to remove from the old strip but be patient and it does come free.

Reassemble the new boot strip and reattach with the bolts and nuts. Assemble the boot trim in the opposite order to above. Make sure you remember to plug in the boot release connector and try it before you shut the boot...you should here the clasp click of course.
Once done sit back and enjoy.
