Hi,

due to me missing my GSXR1000 too much, I've decided to bite the bullet and sell my 'Burg.'

The details are as follows:

1 owner vehicle

Isle Of Man registered

1st registered 14/04/2008

Isle Of Man road tax until March 2009

Only 1600 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!

VAUXHALL FACTORY WARRANTY UNTIL 14/04/2011

AA ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE UNTIL 14/04/2009

No finance owing on vehicle

In immaculate and 'as new' condition.

Always garaged and used purely as a 'sunny day off' car.

Fitted with cruise control and sight/light

This vehicle is cherished and has been fitted with 'Venture Shield' paintwork protection from new. See www.invisiblefilm.co.uk

This paintwork protection is invisible film that covers the bonnet, front lights, front bumper, front wings, wing mirrors and top of rear bumper. This film can be easliy removed if required, but it protects the paintwork from stonechips.

The vehicle has been run in carefully and then had a full oil change at 1300 miles by Vauxhall. This vehicle has not been used as an everyday vehicle and only gets used on sunny days off.

I only ever use Jetseal 109 on it and it gets a full clean inside and out after every drive. It is also never left outside and is permantly garaged.

I am only selling this vehicle due to a lack of use and the fact that i'm really really reall missing my GSXR1000, I have only done 1600 miles since April 2008 and it is a shame to have this vehicle locked away in a garage not being used.

***THIS VEHICLE IS REGISTERED UPON THE ISLE OF MAN, HOWEVER RE-REGISTERING THE VEHICLE IN THE U.K IS EASILY DONE AT A COST OF AROUND £60.00 to £80.00***

***THIS VEHICLE IS NOT CLASSED AS AN IMPORT AS THE ISLE OF MAN IS PART OF THE U.K.***

Although due to shift work I am unable to deliver the car to the UK, I can pick folks up from the airport or ferry terminal. I can also provide free lodgings 8)

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, YOU CAN EITHER E-MAIL ME ON andy_3222@yahoo.co.uk or call on 07624 218118

£16495 ono

Thankyou for looking, Andy

I'd def recommend a trip to the Isle Of Man 8)

If anyone is interested, I am travelling over to just outside Liverpool to see family between this Monday 14th and Thursday 17th July.

I could bring the vehicle over with me.

AndyBrn
13th July 2008, 04:46 PM
Hi, yeah it was £450.00 for the full Venture Shield kit.

It took around 6 hours to fit.

It's easy to remove however if needed.

I understand that folks will have to take possibly a couple of days off to collect the vehicle and this will put a lot off possible interested parties.

So...... If the vehicle sells for the £16495.00, I will personally deliver the vehicle to either Liverpool or Heysham ferry terminal, which ever is best.

£16k?! Bargain!

AndyBrn
16th July 2008, 12:51 PM
I've managed to get a fair bit off a new GSXR1000, so i've lowered the price.

The only problem is that I need to sell the 'Burg' to get the Gixxer :(

I've had a good look around and there are no 'Burgs' even close to this price.

Well spotted on the Sparco seat covers, It's had those on from new 8)

It's also got black and blue Sparco mats as well for that finishing touch.

I can't stress how 'as new' this car is!!!

It's been treated with Jetseal, gets a full clean after ever run and it is always garaged.

It's had an extremely cherished life, and had the oil dropped after a 1300 mile run in period. I have got the invoice from vauxhall to show the oil change.

I am that particular about my cars that i even laminate all sales and service invoices to keep them as new!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whoever buys this car WILL NOT be disappointed.

Don't be shy on making an offer, you never know your luck.

This is such a cheap car for someone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dealers are talking between the 15 - 15.5k for the car to buy it in, so someone could get the bargain of the century!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8)

I've got a cracking deal on a GSXR1000 waiting with a lot of money off at the moment, so it's priced very very very keenly.

I've got two really interested folks, but no deposit's have been paid yet.

Due to the imminent arrival of the new bike.............

£15000 will buy this car!!!!!! 8)

It will cost £20.00 to come over as a foot passenger and £145.00 to get the car back across.

So someone is going to get an 'as new Burg' for £15165!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even David Dickinson would be amazed!!!!!!!

£15k? You're kidding?! OH MY GOD! Why hasn't this sold yet? If I could afford it, I'd have this as the OH's car, and the Arden for myself.

****CAR STILL FOR SALE****

My interested party is having difficulty getting a decent insurance quote due to their age, so the car is still up for sale.

£15000 will buy this car. Grab an absolute bargin before the dealer snaps it up and makes a MASSIVE profit.

Cheers

Just to confirm that to for someone to come to the Isle Of Man to collect the car.......

If you wanted to fly, it would be approx £60 to £140 depending where you're coming from.

Or if you came across from either Liverpool or Heysham on the ferry, it would cost just £20.00 as a foot passenger 8)

It would cost approx £145.00 to get the car off the island on the ferry.

So potentially it would only cost a total of £165.00 if you got the boat 8)

No, there's no finance on it at all 8)

The dealer is itching to get hold of it for the £15k and they've called me twice today to get the car to them as soon as. I presume they must have a buyer for it.

I've put them off for a bit.

They have someone for the car and want it ASAP.

AndyBrn

They paid £15k themselves for the car.

I had lots of folks interested in the car, but most had either complications with insurance or P/X's.

It's gone across to the U.K anyway, so hopefully someone will pick it up
