May cosider selling my plate, dependant on
a) price someone is willing to pay
-b)how much it will cost to take off mine, and replace it
+c) if its worth my time

as i might not sell car for enough to warrant keeping this on it.
Would suit all VXR's and poss suit a VXR8 well as has no.8 in it.
if u are interested get in touch with offers.

cheers Tom

I'm gonna need to sell at £700, to make this worth my while. once transfer costs have been deducted, and any resulting de-valuation in relation to not having on my car.
Cheers Tom

Yup, echoed.

Prices to take the plate off a car, and hold it in thin air.. with the intention of putting it onto a car later is £120. However, this includes the fee for putting it onto another car.

Price for doing a straight off one car, straight onto the other car is £80. Then there is all the paperwork.. and its a lot required for both cars.

Oh and its quite time consuming, DVLA are quoting 10working days.

Yup and then theres cost of having new plates made up, could prob let it go for £700.

Those £250 plates on dvla bazz are generally not as good as mine tho, due to havin more letters etc prior to VXR (ie k900 VXR etc), no 2 digit prior to VXR left for sale.
Plus the number 8 in the plate could be good for a vxr8.

True, the shorter the plate (usually) the more valuable it is.

Considered putting it into an auction, stick a £600 reserve on it and see what happens. You never know, there could be a VXR8 driver in the crowd with money burning a hole in his pocket!!

I would buy it, but not at £700, or £600. Contact me if you want to sell for a more reasonable price.

I would have thought it be worth something along the lines of £450-£500

u also hav to consider that it has 8 in it, and therefore could also make it fairly appealing to a VXR8 owner?
