Don't know how many of you guys and girls are into golf but if you watched it just how awesome was Harrington on the back 9 in sundays final round of the Open!! The shot into 17 was in a different league in imo, esp under that amount of pressure!
I was lucky enough to meet him at Wentworth last year and he is a truely nice guy and thoroughly deserved the win!
Also puts him up to world number 3!!!
And has inspired me to do more practise too :)

I didnt watch enough of it . just kept up with the scoreboard . Seemed like the conditions really showed who has true talent.
Have played with any big names?
I'm always up for hitting some balls mate. Plus i could do with the free pointers ;)

Was great to see the Brits up there in a major and just shows how we're used to playing in the tougher conditions!
I've tried to qualify for the Open a few times and its a great experience playing with a crowd lining the fairways (scary at times tho) and greens!
I've not been fortunate to play with anyone really famous but have met a few!
You should come to the range mate, I'd be more than happy to give you some pointers!

I couldn't agree more! I'm sure he'll count that as one of his all time career shots!

yeah I'm sure its so much easier playing in warm and relatively still conditions on near perfect courses!!!
Guess I'm gonna have to do even more practise if I'm ever gonna find out what its like tho lol
