View Full Version : HOW TO anchor your harnesses...

I know there has been alot of confusion as to where you should be mounting your harnesses to on your Astra VXR.

For the lap section:

Remove the seat, by removing the two bolts holding them in. Then remove the side trim (this is RHS of Drivers seat)

And fit the eyelet into the pre-threaded hole. Clip on your harness.

On the other side of the seat there is a hole pre drilled for an M10 bolt and flange nut. Use this to bolt the other half of the lap section to. (this is the RHS of the passenger seat)

You can now refit the seat.

For the shoulder sections, simply feed them through, under the headrest and clip them to the isofix loops between the rear seat upright and base.

Hope this clarifies any issues you may have with mounting. Please use common sense and ensure seats are refitted properly and anchor points are secure for the harnesses.

great stuff thanks mate oh sorry can you indicat which 2 bolts hold the seat in place so we know how to remove :oops:

where have you fitted them on the corsa

you can clearly see them on the seat runners behind the seat on the floor :)
