I have just changed the rear interior lights to blue to match the blue smd coversion Daz (vxrcourt3) did for me - great job again Daz, lol. The bulbs needed are 5W5 501 12V wedge bulbs which come in verious coloyrs, i brought the 4 x LED bulbs - two are needed.

Right, you have to simply pull the plastic light cover off using force, no other way to do it. When it comes off the back of the light is connected to a cable which can be pulled out of the socket on the back of the light.

When you have the light unit in your hand flip it over and take the metal cover off the back, only comes off one way. Then pull each of the two bulbs out. This is where i started having problems.

Look at one of the bulbs you pulled out and you will see that on the end that was inside the light unit there is a metal strip on both sides on the opposite ends to each other, now look at where the bulbs came from and you will see metal pads next to each other, one higher than the other.

You need to line up the metal strips on the new bulbs to the metal pads so they touch - obvious - however the bulbs i had only had a thin metal wire so had to move them out to the side to get them to connect to the pads. After abit of moving about they now work - looks great.

Hope the above helps.
