Zafira VXR

Hi,this is my first post and sadly its too advertise my Zafira VXR thats going up for sale...
I have owned the car for the last 6 months but sadly due too work commute cant afford to run the car on a daily commute:(
Its a 07 plate which was 1st registered on the 22nd august 2007 and is arden blue in colour.Its just been serviced and is just a shade under 10000 miles.Its got the additional 19" alloys,full leather and two dvd screens(front and back).I also have the original stereo which will be included in the sale...
I am the second owner of the car and have loved owning it but just cant afford the fuel economy sadly....
I will try and post pics when i work out how too!!!!:roll:

Looks a lovely car, however for the reasons why your selling it, its also the reasons why no-one wants to buy it!

dont panic budy, there are only 23 Zafira VXR's listed on autotrader UK wide, so the market isnt overpopulated with them.

I was advised by Vauxhall that i shouldnt get any less than £13500 private for our Zafira, but the market is very slow with next to nothing moving..

your price is spot-on buddy, infact thats a bargain :punk:

Were only 23 maybe 26 on autotrader back in January when bought mine.

What about converting to LPG 53p a litre, conversion should cost between £1500 and £2000 depending on make of system you go for. Would need to get custom back box made to make space for LPG tank, but my exhaust looks same as OEM the tips are the same shape just a fraction meatier.

PS what are you singing and strumming in the background?

Thanks for all the comments guys....I dont wanna drop the price just yet and i can understand the market is slow and have been offered a absolute joke of a price as a part exchange so will just have too advertise it elsewhere and see how it goes!!!:(

do you want to have a go in a LPG VXR? I can call in to see you early next week if you like. That may sway your decision to sell. Multiply your annaul mileage by 8p and those are the savings I get in each of my cars

Yup - market is abismal at the moment. A lot of people moan at petrol prices but I run a 2.5 V6 and the lad at work opposite runs a 1.6 Astra diesel. I sat down and worked out running costs (fuel only) and unbelievably mine comes in at 15p per mile and his at 13p per mile.

Our bus comes in at a shade under 16p per mile, so the only other thing is tax (which is going to be £200 ish more roughly.

So in a nut shell, unless you planning on buying an astra diesel to save 2p per mile then is it worth it .... unless your going to walk everywhere.

Not sure mate,the previous owner had the stereo and dvd screen installed.
