does anyone know where the vxrs are built i heard they were built in antwerp is this the opel factory and if so why are they built there?

correct mate, the reason why they are built there, its the factory opel speciifed and set up for the range i expect, Dougie could answer that

Astra - Antwerp
Vectra - Ruesselsheim
Zafira - Antwerp
Corsa - Zaragoza
Meriva - Zaragoza
Monaro - Melbourne (HSV)
Each location has an OSV (Opel Special Vehicles) area where the cars are finished off.
although we build Astra at Ellesmere Port we don;t build the Sporthatch versions
