•Hand wash vehicle using DoDo Sour Shampoo & heavy pile wash mitt (2 bucket method with grit guards)
•Vehicle rinsed
•De-Ionised water and a Clay bar is used to remove paintwork contamination and tar spots.
•Vehicle rinsed
•Hand wash vehicle using DoDo Shampoo & heavy pile wash mitt
•Vehicle final rinse
•Dry using a waffle weave drying towel (inc. wheels)
•Polish & buff glass (exterior only)
•Apply polish to the vehicle

Crystal Minor Correction Detail

2002 Honda Civic Type-R

• Vehicle is jet-rinsed off to remove looses dirt.
• Citrus Snow foam is sprayed over the vehicle (left to dwell for 5 min)
• Vehicle rinsed
• Fully clean inner arches
• Clean wheels using a acid free wheel wash
• Hand wash vehicle using DoDo Juice Shampoo & heavy pile wash mitt.
• Vehicle rinsed
• De-Ionised water and a Clay bar is used to remove paintwork contamination
• Hand wash vehicle again
• Vehicle final rinse
• Dry using Dodo’s Super Soft drying towel (inc. wheels)
• Plastics are treated
• Mask up around the windows and trim with body shop tape
• Take paint gauge readings (5 readings per panel and logged)
• 1st Stage correction using 3M Green Top on a 3M Green Pad @ 1200rpm (approx) Paint readings taken while correcting
• 2nd Stage finishing using Menzerna PO85 RD 3.02 on a 3M Green Pad pad @ 900rpm (approx)
• Panel wiped car for finial correction inspection
• Applied a coat of sealant by machine (Britemax #5 Extreme Elements Sealant)
• Left to cure
• Apply 1 coat of wax to the whole vehicle (Dodo Purple Haze Pro)
• Buff off to a mirror finish
• Wheels De-tarred using Auto Glym Intensive Tar Remover
• Apply 1 coat wheel sealant (Jet Seal)
• Buff of wheel sealant
• Apply tyre dressing
• Dress inner arches
• Clean & polish exhaust trims
• Cleaned and treated exterior plastics
• Final inspection

Only had the Car for a day, about 11 Hours total so 22 overall with the 2 of us doing different bits and bobs as usual. Oh sorry if you listen to anybody else its Graeme that does all the work and i just sit and watch, make a good Foreman me :)

The idea was not really correction (car is a 59 plate so shouldnt be to bad :lol:) but protection, but we couldnt pass an opertunity to have a go with my new Spin Doctor.

Car was:

Wheels off and fully cleaned and polished with a a coat of FK 1000P
Arches and engine bay APCed, agitated then Bareboned under arches.
Citrus snowed
Rotary polished with 3m ultra fina polish and 3m high gloss polish pad.
Chemical guys New look Trim Gel used
LSP/Wax was HD Auto glym just because it looks the nuts on Red.

Inside was Auto glymed interior shampoo and then Autosmart Finish that dont smell of vanilla.
Glass done inside and out with Autoglym Glass.
