I had a sticking rear piston on mine so stripped the cailpers and rebuilt them Two pistons and all the seals for a full rebuild for £67
pistons are £21 each and the the seal kits is £25 which does both calipers.
I will put up a full step by step refurbishing guide soon if anyone fancys the challenge
A guide would be excellent mate. Bought a new piston and refurb kit, new rubbers etc and a step by step would be perfect. Is it a tough job and how long does it take roughly?

I was gonna put a guide together. I took all the pictures when I did mine. I'll put it together when I get home, I'm offshore at the mo. Although that won't help you right now.

It depends how far you wanna strip it down. I took all the handbrake assembly out of mine and grit blasted them. That was a pig of a job, but only coz I didn't know how to get it out. I took it into our workshop and then to another engineering company, then spoke to brake specialists, and no one could work it out. In the end i just twatted it with a hammer and broke it. Had to buy a scrap caliper for parts. But once it's apart, it's sooo simple. Turns out all I had to do was push down on the inside with iirc a 24mm socket to release the tension off the spring and then turn it anti clockwise, tap the back gently with a hammer and out it all pops. Just remember in what order it all goes. Assembly is just the reverse.
No engine at present!!!!!! But when she returns, she'll have a nice big Garrett bolted to the front of her, and some nice little goodies tucked away inside.

Once you've done 1, which took me 2 weeks. The other took about 2 hours. But that included taking it down to work to grit blast. Then I spent 3 days painting them.
