    Had a bit of a setback yesterday, I went to do a final test fit on all the front suspension and my new longer tierods are too long, back to the part catalogues...

    so reassembled the sadev diff..



    Gear cluster back in



    Casing going back on



    Slave cylinder fitted



    Clutch hoses made up complete with remote bleed nipple and dry break coupling.

    So other stuff has been getting in the way lately and i've not had time to work on the car, when i finally got a chance to test fit the new new tie rods, steering arms etc the bump steer was back! After a lot of head scratching, measuring and swapping parts about I discovered the steering rack wasn't centered and a tiny amount of play in the column coupling so it would wander about. Anyway, today I red did the bump steer checks, making sure they were 100% repeatable, and now need to make more tie rod adapters and spacers for the rose joint to the steering arm. Whilst it was all together I checked the caliper mount spacers, bearing carrier etc and fitted a wheel to check the suspension travel, the last photo shows the suspension just touching the bump stop.

    The last job on the uprights was to drill and tap for the speed sensors and make the spacer for the steering arm

    With that done everything was dropped off for anodising and today I picked it all up.
    I struggled to get any decent photos so these will have to do..

    Progress from the weekend, Began making spare bearing carriers for the front..




    and began work on the rear gearbox mount.






    Dropped the bell housing on to make sure it cleared the mount.

    Some more progress from the weekend.

    Managed to get the the spare bearing carriers onto the table and drilled.



    and finished cutting and tacking the rear gearbox mount






    it will be finish welded once its been test fitted on the car

    Some more work on the spare bearing carriers.




    Finished complete with bearings and flanges pressed in.



    Final assembly of the uprights (including the spare)



    Bottom post fitted, HT bolt cut to length and test fitted.




    Final assembly of gear shift lever etc




    Bell housing fitted to gearbox



    Just need some good weather now to fit all of it on the car.

    It's like the A-Team, just more complicated!
