members need to remember, tony and alot of the other boys are running on a very very very small amount of money. they are also racing big brand names.HONDA and MG have a few pound.
also alot of the other teams get some help from the car brands they drive,.
i went to a test at brands for tony to see the insigna run, john was there with the insignia,he had a van and a trailer. the BTCC car had one set of slicks and there were on the car. next garage at the test was frank in the dyno-jet car. big lorry,12 team members and 40 new tyres. also there was collard with the same as frank.

Good results, nice of Karcher to assist in the sponsorship deal for the weekend to get some real time testing done.

I'm not putting them down. I'm glad they started and finished. It's been as frustrating watching as I bet it has been for the team themselfs.

I had a few sets of head lights for john but he never got back to me and a bonnet
I stuck them on ebay in the end

I think they should of started off in lower motor sport first as the big boys have some cash to splash on this

Tony did the car and the team proud, we watched as he slowly worked his way up the field only to be punted and damaged , such a shame, the car looked the part and as Wayne said its an expensive day out for a low budget team,
We know Reece Somerfield who drives in the Ginetta G50 cup and his entry alone was £1250.00 , then the tyres , Fuel got to be from Ginetta using around a litre per lap . think he said around £2.50 per litre, so thats a good £450.00 in fuel alone.Shocking, but he came away with a third place trophy

one van, holding gazebo , tools , few parts, oh and bed to sleep in, one dad with trailer for towing car, two friends for volunteers this weekend but no one for knockhill , he broke a anti roll bar, crap welding imo , so he had to go to the ginetta van for a spare, doesn't even know how much the new bar was , needs must
lost a wiper blade, decided not to purchase as they were mega expensive too ,

Got to take my hats off to these guys , its just what makes the sport what it is , we all love the top named drivers but lets not forget the privateers and low budget teams too.

Oh and check out Scotts hat.lol.
