Default Need help with changing air filter

I don't know loads about cars.. Lifted bonnet, undone jubilee clip, now I can't work out how the standard air filter box comes out? I've got a pipecross cone filter I want to put in.
Can anyone help me with how to get the old one out, is there clips/screws I need to undo or something as it seems pretty stuck in there!?
    Thanks
    Lewis

Doesn't that leave the box thing at the bottom though?

Can't you just leave bottom on anyway? Think thats what a lot of people do?

If you leave the bottom on then you can get better cool air flow. As it draws it up from under the engine etc via the tube you can see....So I was told!

So I've lifted the top half off, I can see the panel filter. But looks like the air filter connects into something underneath? Please note I know **** all hahaa

No take the filter itself out. Then just rest the Cone in the bottom half of airbox.

Lift the panel filter out. I would just leave the bottom section in and connect ur cone filter to the airbox side of the afm with the jubilee clip
