    Default Adding remus to your insurance policy !

    So just got off the phone from diamond asking how much it would cost to put a remus exhaust onto my car. i explained that it would be mosty sound and not performance and the guy quoted me £189 on to of the £1,200 i am pay atm !

    just wondering if their are any ways to better word it ect or get it cheaper !

    insurance company = Diamon

    Wow that seems high.

    I'm with diamond and asked about that and adding a pipercross. They quoted me £60 on top of my £750 premium which I thought was OK.

    I'm 29 with 6 points and 0 ncb though.

    dont think there is a better way to word it, unless your with a insurance that are motor enthusiasts and would understand what your doing. They just see it as modified. :/ *checks box on his computer under exhaust catagory* then quote you more

    I got quoted £28.11 to add Remus to my policy.

    It will be a percentage on your premium, higher the premium the more it will cost

    just called up again and the same 189 ;( dunno what to do as i have been offerd a brand new remus 2 piece for 550

    My insurance company didn't ask about details like the brand or performance increase etc, i just stated it was an aftermarket exhaust and got my quote.

    So a remus is just a sound mod not a performance mod ?

    Surely there is a slight power gain.

    V8, not for everyone but 10/10 for your effort.
