    That's a lot of smoke !

    My car boosted fine but say I leave car idle for long periods of time eg set of lights Mcdys drive though

    As I would leave puff of blue smoke then would clear

    Was the turbo at fault .. But mine wasent smoking as much as yours

    yeh its quite bad now..doesnt look too bad from inside the car. did you have to replace the turbo? and whats the cost of replacing it

    I bought a new manfoild from regal which cost 200 posted

    New core which is 270 ... +stud and gasket kit 40

    And the fitting I done myself ... Smoke has completly gone

    What's the mileage as there's loads of threads about blue smoke it's worrying I was 26 when I had my evo and killed it at 35 and it was nailed all the time rev limiter every where and it never lost power every year on the rollers turbo did go and I mean slightly smoking off boost I would expect a standard vxr to do the same but they seem a weak engine in 37 now so I not after tunning just reliability

    My car is on 38k and turbo is completely ******

    The gear box went at 24k... And diff planet wheels went at 27k

    One word for vauxhall chocolate ..

    Cheapest thing to try first is the valve stem seals
    2013 Arden Astra GTC VXR
    Aero pack with 20's, Navi 600, rear parking sensors, interior LED's, 6k HID's, LED DRL's, pressed plates, Heko wind deflectors, tints all round, Regal RSS cold induction kit, M-Tech short shift, Forge lower chassis brace, DAP springs, MTC coolant and boost hoses, dipped engine cover, TPI gold wheel nuts MORE TO COME....... ARDEN FOR THE WIN.........

    Best thing to do

    Take the down pipe of check for in and out play and side to side if it's excessive you know it's the turbo for sure
