    I completely disagree. Nankangs came on the wheels when I bought them, compared to the toyo t1rs I have on now they were utter garbage

    With so many tyre threads the conclusion is always you get what you pay for.

    If you want nankangs that's no problem as for the money they're okay but don't expect amazing things, for general road use with little hard driving they're good for the money.

    Surely the tyres that VX fitted to the car from the factory are the best? Are they not? They must have put a bit of R&D into the handling and different weather conditions. After all it is a performance car for the road and not an all out track car. Only just got our VXR new a couple of weeks ago and the wife mainly drives it so I haven't really tested the handling in different situations yet.

    Tyres chosen will as with all manufacturers be a compromise - balance of grip, road noise, longevity and price....oh and not forgetting any specific tie up's that they have in place for a chosen supplier

    personally im going for uniroyal rainsports next, great all round tyre and awesome in the wet conditions!
