    Default De-cat Exhaust

Hi guys, I take it that this exhaust is this one on ebay?
Also would a full decat piper system effect anything like the turbo?
Because of that then need a remap to adjust everything accordingly because of a different back pressure?
If thats the case then does that mean that I would need to change to standard exhaust and take the map off just for the mot ?
Or would the full system be fine without the need of a map?

    Yeah that's the exhaust
Without a map you may get the Emissions light to pop up.

You will need a main cat on the exhaust to pass an mot

So say I get that exhaust and get it mapped for performance and so the emission light doesn't show up.
But then when the MOT is due what do you do then ? Because you can't just swap the exhaust to the standard one because the car is still tuned for the piper and not the standard? So would you have to go to the hassle of swapping the exhaust and then taking the map off just for the MOT?

Become friendly with an MOT tester or buy a sports cat

Will have to swap it over.

If you keep the boost down and drive a short distance it shouldn't be a problem

I really would never bother with decat. It's illegal and will void your insurance. Nothing wrong with a sports cat and the difference between sports cat and decat in terms of gains isn't enough to justify driving around illegally. Just my 2ps worth. Sports cat is deffo worth the extra wonga if buying a turbo back

I've been running a de-cat for about 7k miles; 6k with a remus 3 piece and 1k with my 3" cobra, no issues apart from eml light, sounds good.
