    Default Burg boost gauge

Bought a burg today and the gauge is reading -21 on idle, what would be up with it?

It's just vaccum it's normal altho mine sits closer to -30 sounds like you've got a vac leak or sticky vac solenoid. Hope this helps.

-21 & -30 psi??? Mine sits around 1 bar (14psi) vacuum, should I be worrying? Ha.

The minus numbers should be around -24-25 for vacuum, if it's positive could be registering atmospheric pressure which is around 14 psi, otherwise if its positive or not negative then you have a vac leak as vacuum should be negative

8 psi is low to be boosting! Standard an astra should run around 14psi (1 bar)

So from what you're saying BigDov, I have a vacuum leak somewhere as it should be twice as much as it is?

Should I get the same psi in different gears? In 2nd it wasn't going above 4 psi but in
Fourth I was getting 16 after playing about with the actuator
