    Some extra info;

    I went from a CD400+ straight to the Navi 950, just by swapping the correct OEM parts shown in my previous posts
    VCI codes for retro-fitting Intellilink will only be given for post 2014 models
    It took several hours to carry out all the required VCI stuff, it is not a simple tick box exercise with a MDI Tech 3

    I changed the front brake pads today, they were the factory originals which had done 11750 miles in 30 months and still had just over 5mm left.
    I didn't want to have to change them over the winter months so another job crossed off the list

    I swapped over to Opel badges the other week, fitting the Opel airbag was the hardest part, otherwise it was very easy to do. The rear badge is actually stuck onto a round disc, not the hatchback door.

    I have retrofitted an OEM rear parking camera, just above the number plate, next job is to get Rusty to work his magic to enable it

    What do you need to get that all working?

    It's not much wiring, just two screened wires to the rear of the Navi 950 control box, one wire from ignition +12v (sourced from the dash fuse box), one wire from reverse light feed and a 0v from the chassis.

    Hardest part was removing the bumper to cut the hole required. The Tech 3 is not quite so simple, some magic will be required to enable it due to the GTC never coming with the reversing camera from the factory.

    ps: it also requires the OEM rear parking sensors

    Time for the third annual service - 14200 miles, roughly 4700 miles a year. Used some GM engine oil and a GM oil filter. Plus 2.3 litres of GM gearbox oil.

    I still have a set of electric folding mirrors to fit, which have been sat on the shelf for months. Hopefully get them fitted this year lol

    Do the mirrors need coding?
