no J vxr has that option from the factory, which is why it took so long to find a suitable software. My sw is from a Chevrolet

Hardest part was removing the bumper to cut the hole required. The Tech 3 is not quite so simple, some magic will be required to enable it due to the GTC never coming with the reversing camera from the factory.

ps: it also requires the OEM rear parking sensors
OEM parking sensors isn't needed for rear cam mate, if they are fitted you will get the yellow red ! triangles in the screen but the camera isn't dependent on them being fitted.

Mate that is a very nice car but I would still rather have the VXR h version as I think it looks meaner and faster where as the j version looks to refined and more like a business mans car.

The next retro-fit for my astra is the Infinity Sound System

A Flexfloor is also required due to the sub woofer box being installed on the boot floor, so I picked up one of those too.

I purchased a complete wiring loom and slimmed it down to create a plug and play loom

Then I added the amp to the boot

A new side trim panel is required due to the position of the amp

    Boot section complete

Next job is to run the cable from the boot to the radio control box, but not got the time today to complete that task

yes it was, just £500 when you bought a new car.

However you would struggle to retro-fit it for that cost

To do it correctly you need to replace all the speakers, add the sub woofer, amplifier, wiring loom, r/h boot trim panel, flexfloor and get a VCI

I almost traded it in for one of the last ones built, registered on a 68 plate, but where is the fun in that lol

ps: I am slowly working my way though that list, finding a set of 2 Ohm speakers is not easy. I will also lose the Chevrolet NAVI 950 software when the VCI is done, back to vauxhall to get the vci check.
