It is totally different to Europe

Runs are less crowded, you could be the only ones on the run,

    lift queues are non existence

Whistler is Canada largest ski area (8,171 acres of terrain)over two mountains linked together - the ski area is everywhere within the ski boundary so lots of power, tree skiing

People are a lot more friendly, you actually talk to people on the lifts

Whistler is top of my list of places to go, unless you have been it is hard to explain

Only downside, lifts starts @ 8:30 and finishes at 15:30 - it is a long day with the miles you cover

    Default Snow sports!

    Currently in val d’isere.

Nightmare journey on Sunday - flight delayed at gatwick , Geneva airport closed for snow clearing when we where in the air - 1 hr delay in landing

Finally to top it 8hr transfer from airport to resort - normally 3 1/2 hrs max. Never seen some much snow from the airport to resort - had 80 cm. of snow during sunday

All our delays do not compare with a group of 100 people on a organised trip I know

Flight cancelled on Sunday , told could be 2 - 3 days before they could get planes home.

Around 70 got home yesterday , the rest today
