Bit of an update, and to cut the long story short my Drivers side Brembo Caliper has failed, i had my suspicions for a few weeks that it was on its last legs with various symptoms. Anyhow bought 2x new Brembo Calipers and the ones that arrived where the ones fitted to the Performance Packed Corsa E VXR's.

All that's different is the Carrier/Spacer or whatever its called that allows it to use 330mm Discs.

Above Carrier for the D Corsa Nurburgring & Clubsport with 305mm Discs

    Quite a difference tbh!

So instead of messing around trying to swap Carriers over i bit the bullet and bought the 330mm whoppers instead

Nice difference, and it'd be rude not to fit from HEL Hoses,

Manged to fit the Passenger side fine,

Nice and easy, now the Drivers side, hmm it all seemed to be going according to plan until the last few threads and it just kept spinning and spinning and fear of losing all my Brake fluid i nipped it back up and i'll attempt it tomorrow once i top up the Fluid! and hopefully Bleed them all. Failing that i'll refit the OE Hose on the Passenger side and go from there!

Still had problems with the Drivers side Hose so in fear of knackering it up completely, this morning refitted both the OE Hoses back and bleed the Brakes.

Only been around the block as they need 'bedding' in but i can tell the difference straight away! Love it

So to recap, my Nurburgring has the Remus Back-Box from the Corsa E VXR and now the Brembo Calipers and the 330mm Discs from the Performance Pack Corsa E VXR.

Next up i really want the Alloys a refurbed and the Rear Calipers painted. Just under 38k on the clocks now.

    Thanks

Received a letter from Vauxhall yesterday, regarding a recall on the Handbrake. Can’t say I’ve noticed any issues if I’am honest, but it’s gotta be done.

Booked it in for next Friday. Anyone had there’s done and if so, noticeable difference?

I love it. Where do you purchase big brake kit and for how much? It's big different to 305 mm? This will be my next upgrade.

    Cheers mate

Got them from Nevlock Shop of eBay, and as you can see they come with the Carriers that allow the bigger Discs. Then local Brakes International for the 330mm Discs. At around £90 for the pair IIRC.

I’ve noticed quite a noticeable difference tbh.
