I had a similar issue the other day. Car would unlock but just wouldn't start. Came up with 3 fault codes 65070 161450 and 161600 (I think). Eventually after several attempts, the car started. Changed the batteries on the fobs and (fingers crossed) it's been ok since.

Checked my owners manual and it said there should be a tiny T-shaped key inside the fob for emergencies, but both mine are missing. It shows that you can get access to the car with this but don't know if you can start it as well (I presume you pull that cover off where a normal key should go and stick it in there).

Went to Vauxhall yesterday to get one and they said it would be about £120!! But I needed to have my V5 with me and some ID which I didn't.

    Seems a bit steep that!
