Default Rabbits astra Vxr.. I love the hate

So picked up my first Vauxhall in the form of a vxr

Was converted from vag after owning my bora for over 2 years

Sold that stupidly cheap and travelled 600 miles round trip to collect the wee beast

    07 plate
    67495 on the clock
    3 previous owners

    Ohh and totally unmolested

straight away I got around to cleaning and removing badges as had 2 days to get it ready for Scottish car show

Scottish car show was mixed views on the car after going from a car that destroyed 9 sumps in 2 years to a quick car

After the show my lower grill kept falling into the bumper so off it came to be painted and fitted properly, done the other honeycomb bits while i was at it

Browsing ebay i decided to get ths little number, slight change in exhaust tone but needs double decat

Now the thing I dreaded most..!!!!
When I purchased the car the box didnt feel right, mentioned it to dealer and they said it was fine, was tight etc etc etc. 1 month later the throw in first was bad and it wined worse than my ex. Decided if it was going to go it would go in style

Fortunately it lasted a further 3 days until I removed the box and sent away for recon

1 week later it was back in and it seemed like a new car

Loads planned, more green hoses, fmic, 3"turbo back, lows... also getting vents installed and will be the first car in the Uk (to my knowledge anyway) to run them on a different manufactured car

Finally got my boost guage in, the pipe shortened and tidied up

Breather hoses arrived so got them both fitted

Then my led fogs arrived so they are in and look so much better then the yellow

Then I got bored and tried to polish the heatshield on the car but that failed so its not as dull but definately need to get it off the car and cleaned up properly
