    Default 2009 VXR's Still going?

    Hi all,
Looking at an Arctic tomorrow in Essex.
    Number. 80 (2009)
It's not on the arctic register here, only has 53,000 on the clock.

Wondered if any of you guys with VXR's in the 2009 era are still running strong?
Had a 2009 VXR about 4 years ago, nothing but issues so I sold it, which has caused my apprehension to appear, so thought id look to get some comforting advice... If there is any!

    Why wouldn't they?

    Check Service History.
Check previous MOTs (only need REG to do this)
    Check Gearbox
Check tyres (if budgets then cars probaly been cheaply looked after)
    Check IDLE on cold start
    Check for any smoke etc.

    No worries.

Check for Diff/Gearbox whining and if the gear stick jumps back when lifting off accelerator.
Yeah for example if the car constantly fails mot etc
Another thing to check is lift the clutch up fast to biting point and if theres any clunks etc.

Check for receipts for gearbox rebuild, cambelt and water pump etc.

I've had my 2009 Corsa VXR with 56k a few weeks now and aside from it needing a new blower fan and having a whining gearbox its been all right.

It's just the apprehension carried on over from my last.
New radiator and more which costed £1,500... Warranty covered it but still annoyed me as only a month old.

This Arctic has only had 1 lady owner from new, 53k, all vauxhall history, all previous MOT failings and receipts of work carried out from Vauxhall.
    So fingers crossed...
