    Well found out it needs a complete mechansian at the cost 250 pounds .so if you want yours fixing the company is les evans and son in shrewsbury

    Well refitted head unit this morning cd player working fine ,also fitted the aux rear output cable but that does,nt work even with a new lead fitted to mp3 player so not sure why not ,open to advice on that

    Found in the setting rear aux needs to be switched on so now working still poor qaulity sound ,using a small mpe player so what else can i use gents

    Front aux not great ,or rear but thar could be the mp3 player ,not sure just happy to have the cd working now

    If your running stock speakers and head unit and after decent sound quality it's not really going to happen, you then have to start looking at sound processors and upgraded speakers to keep the stock head unit and gain a decent sound

    There's a guide somewhere on here I think on how to make a plug for the rear aux out - i followed it and bought the parts on ebay for less than a tenner iirc

    Made one for my last 8. I've no use for it now. If I can find it (and that is an issue in my garage ) I'll happily donate it. Got video and audio in. It works fine but I didn't use it cos I never got the VIM lock disabled.
