Default EPC (Electronic parts catalogue) for Astra J OPC/XR

    Hello,

There are a few EPC online but this one is very good, it has the updated catalogue of parts.

I have checked many parts on this that are still valid but discontinued on other EPCs.

The important about this EPC is that you may find the part # all parts on the EPC are correct, in worst case may it be replaced by a new part number, so if Vauxhall "replaced" it by a new one, when you order it if you are giving an old part number the Vauxhall dealer will check his latest version EPC, his EPC will indicate him that the part number you requested has been replaced by a new one and will tell you "this part has been replaced by this other one" and there you go !
Use this EPC, I can guarantee you will get the right part even if was replaced by a new one.

Not really.. or you plan to go dealer asking "hey, I need a bolt that goes in that part of the engine, has a shape like a bla, bla...and it seems is for this..and bla, bla..." won't be better to go straight and say "hey, I need part number GM #"?
Always a part number is better than nothing, if that part number has been updated the dealer will let you know promptly but he needs at least the original part number to find it..at the end of the day you get what you need quick.
So, having a part number always work ...is not a waste of time to begin using an online EPC

    if you say so

not always a good idea as Iv had people looking up part like you bring a number in I order it eg ecu few days later they come back saying its the wrong part "sorry sir that's the part number you gave sorry your stuck with it" oh that's £600-£700 done the drain.
