Default New car. SEAT Cupra 290 black

Collected my new car on Monday from SEAT Stockport. The woman I dealt with is a member on here and owns a Corsa VXR. Small world.

Anyway, It's a SEAT Cupra 290 black which means it comes with some extra options including 19" diamond cut alloys, heated bucket seats etc.

I've only done 100 miles so far and the roads have been a bit greasy so I've not had much chance to see what she can do. Seems fairly quick beyond 5000rpm. It has the same engine as the Audi S3/Golf R but it's front wheel drive with a diff rather than 4WD.

Still very new and yet to have a real opinion but overall I'm very happy with it. Here's a couple of quick snap shots

I don't have any interior photos but these are the seats.

Update 9th Jan. Had the roof and below the front lower grille wrapped gloss black. Looks much better.

Had my roof, centre of the rear spoiler and below the lower front grille wrapped gloss black

Being the golf r s3 engine it's gonna have ridiculous potential but I guess at the moment you're just getting acquainted

M135i went about 15 months ago bud. I've been driving round in a crappy diesel Civic since then whilst saving towards a house move. I couldn't put up with it for any longer so now I'm back in something fun. Still have the Civic and need to sell it but I'll sort it after Christmas.

There's a flat spot half way through the rev range and they go to 360bhp-370bhp with a remap so something will happen. The only problem is its a lease car so I'll need to get a tuning box which leaves no trace rather than a custom map.

Lol, couldn't wait any longer, I can see why

Can't understand why vw hold so much back with these engines in standard guise, but yeah the lease factor is a bummer

Lease factor is a bit of a bummer but there are a couple of piggyback tune options available that I know of.

    Thats a beast.

What did you think to the M135i when you had it.

    I might go for a M140i next
