    Post Oil catch can

Hi, is it possible to install an oil catch can on a Corsa D VXR? Has anyone on this forum installed a catch can in their corsa vxr? If so, could you please share and provide instructions on how it was done such where the hoses go. Even better if you could upload some pics that would be great.

My understanding was that the black pipe on the top right of the pic was some sort of oil breather pipe?

Doesn't look like an obvious place where you would plumb it in like the Astra H

    Interesting question this!

theres the breather pipe that comes between the cam cover and engine, that attatches to my inlet.

Im sure ive seen a catch can done on the corsa, not including the couple with the astra engine. pretty sure enhance did 1 too

    yeah this 1 👆

the rubber hose is attatched to a plastic hose between the cam belt and engine. The catch can i saw was mounted near the fpr

Apologies people, i completely forgot about that pipe!

    That its a breather.

However, if the OP is the same guy that posted on UKCD, he was enquiring as he has a lot of oil on his throttle body so was looking for a way to reduce that.

I know on my car the turbo inlet is exceptionally clean so it'd take a LOT of oil to be ingested there, be blown/burnt through the turbo/intercooler, and get to the throttle body.

Point being theres probably a bigger issue on his car, and the catch can will do sweet FA on a healthy car (before anyone goes investing their hard earned cash on one).
