    Default Recirc valve

So I've started get a very faint turkey noise and I know it's the recirc valve that's on its way out.
After a thorough browse it seems there is no clear conclusion as to wether the turbosmart recircs are too strong and cause flutter and compressor stall. Are they overkill?
Leaning towards turbosmart as they're cheaper than the forge ones. Anyone know anything?

I've got a Courtenay Sport edition Turbosmart recirc on my turbo. Never had any problems with it at all. If you've had a standard one on since the car was new and it's lasted a lot of miles, then it might be better value to fit the rubber and plastic rubbish that comes as standard 👍🏻

It's just with it breaking now , and Me wanting a map and injectors soon I thought I might as well? Would a standard recirc hold up to 230 bhp?

I've got a standard in my Astra, nearly 300 bhp. I've had one split and replaced it but so far so good

On my second standard one and Its starting to fade, going for turbosmart next month.
Also noticed that the plastic cover/lid on my standard one has started to bend!?
Its tight by the 3 bolts but inbetween there are small gaps!!.
