    Default Windscreen wipers

Packed up on me today, they only just managed to creep up the windscreen in the first 2 settings but worked ok on the fast sweep. Is this the motor or as with my old Calibra the wiper stalk at fault?

I would double check the wiper arm linkage first but if that is all good I would say motor I haven't heard of a stalk problem with the wipers yet.

I had similar, replaced wiper motor and linkages (vauxhall linkage bushes are crap), all good now.

A few other people have had to replace motor and linkage due to failure.

So end of last week I receive a new motor from autovaux and low and behold the faulty one is now working perfectly, oh well at least I have a replacement for when it finally packs up.

Sounds familiar, my wiper motor became intermittent immediately prior to total failure.
