    Default Locking nuts

I haver just bought a set of genuine locking wheel nuts and when tightening the first one it started to slip and thenrealised it had stripped inside? They seem real poor quality, to soft so to speak, anyone else had this problem?

    Cheers

Mine had not stripped. But a certain tyre fitting company, did the nuts up so tight that the locking key slipped of the nuts and would not undo. The only way was to have a bar welded onto the locking nut to remove it.
    Then fit new locking nuts

If you got them from a Vauxhall dealer you may stand a chance if you take them back and explain the situation -- or were they eBay specials

No they are definitely genuine Vauxhall, compared to other licking nuts I find the adapter des not sit in very far, poor deign with the serrations I think, will look for something different, I was also thinking, do people actually pinch wheels anymore?
