    Default underseal advice

    Anyone undersealed their astra?

After my rust debarcle on wheel knuckles (which I've sorted with hammerite) thinking about buying a can of underseal.

can this literally be sprayed to any part under the car? Or are there bits to avoid? I'd imagine wires etc, and exhaust but anything else?

I'm going to be undersealing mine too in the next month or so - going to get all the shizz required from bilt-hamber and do as much as I can!

    Yup. Done mine last month.

Used Bilt hamber dynax on the wheel arches and rear beam. Then just used black hammerite underseal underneath. The stuff with added waxoil.

Just cleaned it all underneath, treated any rust spots then sprayed away. Just kept it off the heatshields and exhaust.

Apart from that it's all over everything else. Got some photos in my build thread over on AON if you want to take a look?

So you even sprayed over the wires etc? Not that it'd matter as they're all sealed anyway.
