Wouldn't buy the Vauxhall or the BMW. Far better alternatives out there. Power is one thing, but the whole car needs to be decent.
Speed cameras and traffic wardens are a bad idea!

Audi, Mercedes, Porsche, Jaguar, Lotus to name a few....far better looking and far more discerning cars, but that's my opinion, each to their own.

Actually, just noticed, you already have the Jag and Lotus, so you obviously have much better taste than the BMW chasers!

Have you driven the current VXR8 GTS? It's come a long way since the original VXR8's as shows in the link above. Very much a decent car and now on par with the German and other European offerings.

Not driven one, far too big for my liking. Much prefer small cars without all the comfort stuff, styling and how much fun they are matters most to me

As much as I love Lotus, link one of the above cars you've listed at the same £15,000 price tag from Pistonheads to compare.

Making direct comparisons in terms of age (9 years) and mileage (91k), you should be able to source any of the brands and a wide range of models for each. Just don't think £15,000 is value for money with a 9 year old car at 91k. Let's be honest, it's getting towards the end of its 'reliable' part of life. I would want something with a little more styling excitement and pedigree for that money, age and miles.
I'm not disputing the power and capability of the car, just think there are better alternatives out there. Yes, some Porsche models will need to be higher mileage to fit the £15k tag, but a few extra miles above 91000 really won't make any difference at that point.
