    Smile Wheel nut torque

    Hi,
    Can anyone let me know the wheel bolt torque setting on a 65 plate insignia vxr running on 20 inch rims

    Well in my owners manual, on page 252, it says to tighten the wheel nuts to 150Nm.

    I would say 150 is too much... I do mine 120-130nm...

    On all cars...

    no probs chap. tec stuff it is 150 but trying to get them undone on the side of the motorway or road with the brace bar you may or may not have is no fun. my Vectra has 19inch and I do them to 120 and never had a prob but I would say 130 if you drive fast

    I was only saying what the handbook says, but you need to remember that the Vectra has M12 bolts (recommended torque110Nm) and the Insignia has M14 nuts.
