Default Running rich Astra H vxr help!

Recently bought my vxr and it's had some modifications done to it, pipercross panel filter, intercooler, miltek back box with a scorpion centre pipe. Possibly more. I can smell strong petrol from the exhaust, took it to my mechanic and he confirmed it was running rich. He said it could be a bad map. What else could it be ? Also can anyone recommend somewhere to get a more economical reliable map put on it ? Any help much appreciated people! First thread and new member!

Smelling petrol with an aftermarket exhaust is normal to be honest, especially if you've decatted or have a sports cat.. I get a strong smell of petrol from mine and has a sports cat.

Who done the map? It's highly recommended to take it to a reputable tuner, names you can find on the forum if you look around

    Willkommen!
Has it a precat delete? Check the connection near the turbo clamp if so. Probably drawing in air over the lambda if incorrectly fitted.

Other possibility is that the filter was oiled recently and excess oil made its way onto the MAF element upsetting the readings.
