Monaro CV8

Hi All,

Posting just out of interest here, not a VXR I know, but does anyone in here own a CV8 monaro?

My dad has just purchased a red one, 2005 facelift model with the twin pipes and the bonnet vents. Had 72k on and 2 owners I think so is a lovely clean model. The only tweak it has is a H pipe, not sure if this makes much difference.

350 brake standard I believe in the 05/06 models?

Just wondering if there are any common issues I can tell him to look out for etc and any quick fixes to be made aware of

One of the managers at my job used to have one - was fairly reliable from what I heard.

Only issue he had was he snapped a driveshaft showing off, and was fairly expensive to replace but other than that was fine!

Haha hopefully shouldn't be an issue then he isn't exactly a show off
