    The car looks great by the way but the money you have probably spent could of got you a real vxr.

    Yeah but as he said at the start of his thread , the insurance cost, running cost and then hassle with the Cadbury gearbox.......

    I may of bought a new car .. Got my astra real one this time . Love it already. Few issues with it . The horn doesn't work and steering wheel controls are a bit temperamental what could that be also it has been lowered but dunno by how much it's on springs. What a the standard height from floor to top of wheel arch please. Front and back if pos as mines lower on front .

    There was a recall for a modification to the cim. It was just a little clip which held the wires out of the way so it wouldn't develop the horn fault.

    Ah lovely job well my car is under 3 month warranty from garage I got it from. So shall be informing Them! Also just had engine management light kick in. Power loss and misfiring .
    Think clutch bearing is very noisy too .
    Defo going back . They can fix it all
