    Im running 305bhp at 359 ft ib on remus on my burg been like that for around 12 months now

    Impossible to say mate until it’s on the rollers and we can see how it’s performkng and holding boost etc.

    My advice would be to fit the stage 3 mods, induction kit, exhaust, intercooler and then take it to a decent tuner and see if it makes 300bhp, if not then they should be able to advise you on what is not performing and what you could replace to get you up to that figure

    Just cause the car hasn’t skipped a beat doesn’t mean it’s healthy, it may have dropped 20bhp for whatever reason over the last year and you not have noticed

    I can’t really remember your induction, did you just have crossover delete and cone filter? If so then that will be fine

    At 300.02 you might get a dyno run that reads 299.6

    na ive just got an air filter on it but i want to get a cross over delete on it but before i get it remapped thats y i wna do all this together then it done and a completely different car it should feel like

    so from what ppl say i reckon ill do what you said mate just get the stage mods n get it remapped and c how it goes from there.

    i really dont want my car to go bang tho thats y i dont wna do tooo much to it.

    So ads do all dynos get a different reading then?? one place maybe 300.02 and another 299.6? thought they would all work the same.

    yes all dyno's vary, some slightly others can be way out.

    If your concerned about the car failing, parts breaking etc maybe best leave it as it is. it may still have issues as standard but the reality is upping the cars power can expose the next weakest point in the car. this is something you have to be prepared for and willing to upgrade. if it breaks then fix it with uprated parts

    im no more concerned than any body else when upgrading engine parts and im quite confident the engine is sweet as a nutt.

    all im a bit worried about is upping the power and other parts start going wrong DUE to me upping the power...and then having to fork out for uprated parts.
    i dont mind purchasing uprated parts if its not £££££££££ as its then in my eyes not worth the upgrade as the cost is too high for the extra 30-40 bhp.

    ahhh decisions ey...im not doing it till june/july time so ive got enough time to decide and im probably gna be posting and asking for help with brakes at some point defooo need them lol

    I really wouldn't get too hung up on the figures that you want. It's a common misconception that Stage 3 IS 300 bhp and if it's not there's something wrong.

    Get it done right and just make sure the drives is nice.

    Stage 3 is more like 285-300 really so you can't be disappointed if you fall in that range tbh.

    well thats what i mean this is what i was saying earlier in the thread that from what ive seen many stage 3 arent OVER 300 bhp unless loads of other bits r done aswell or its got a ko6.
    yh i totally get what ure saying Ry no point having a 300bhp beast if its juddery and that its best to have a 280-290 bhp smooth as a babys butt kinda ride lol

    think ill just do the basics first airtec front mount intercooler,not sure if my current exhaust is 3" if not change to 3" or if i can get a remus (doubt it from what ive read on here lately lol) direct route as i already have air filter and im thinking sm tuning for my remap?

    I've always taken what Rabbid has said before (maybe other tuners too) as the best advice. If you really want to go K06 buy a new one, don't have your unit refurb'd. Just buy a straight up K06 from the likes of AET.
